For those who have heard the Word, believe the Word, believe that Jesus is the Son of God, repented and confessed of their sins, been immersed in baptism and are living a faithful life serving God each day, we have these scriptures explaining how a Christian can go to God and ask for forgiveness when they do sin.

I John 1:7
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 2:1
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

This scripture warns us about sinning and how we are defiant when we sin and breaking God's law against sinning.

1 John 3:4
[ Sin and the Child of God ] Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

As you can see, there are warnings about what sin will bring us so you must have gotten confused and thought someone said it was ok to sin because anyone who knows the Bible well, knows there are many warnings against it.

The OT isn't the law we follow today so scripture from there is a history of things done in the past where we can learn what happened to those who disobeyed God but, not all things from the OT were carried over to the NT and are not binding to today.

The only part of our being that can resist sin is our spirit that is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. We cannot improve our flesh and as believers we have the choice each day to live according to the flesh or according to the spirit. The Lord is indeed with us, through His death on the cross, dealing with sin satan and the flesh and all the things of the old creation we can be strong and of good courage, because greater is He who is in us than he that is in the world.
It is the Might of the Lord strength that we stand on. Any other stand will fail. If we stand on a strong will to do righteous things only and fail to take the Lord as our real supply and source then eventually we will learn the lesson that its only our spirit that has the ability to live above sin. Our whole being has to be according to our spirit where Christ dwells.
Our brother Paul was able to take pleasure in all these things that most would try to run away from because he was ONE with the Lord, This Lord, who was a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief. This man who trod a lonely road and faced death hell and the grave as a perfect Godman. Christ was able to copy His life in Paul. Paul came to the end of himself so that Christ could be lived out. The Lord, through all the sufferings was able to strip Paul of all in him that did not match the Christ Who lived in Him till all that was left standing was.." Not Paul, but Christ that lived in Paul."
Truly the Lord did not have to compete for the preeminence in anything in Paul, because our brother was a man who went through the winepress to produce the wine, he went through wroughing work of the Holy Spirit to conform Paul to the Mold of Christ. This empting and weakness gave the Lord the real way to fill Paul with so much of Himself. Praise the Lord for such a pattern,.
So should we say that becuase we are weak we are allowed to sin? God forbid. This kind of weakness is not the weakness to the flesh ....but Paul speaks of the weakness toward Christ so that Christ can have a way to apply His strength to us without us trying so hard to do it in ourselves,to yet again fail.

For our sins we need to come to the Lord and confess our sin so that we can be cleansed. We need to give this besetting and stumbling sin to the Lord for Him to have a way to empty us and fill us with His strength.

If we feed the flesh it will grow. BUT if we feed our spirit, the Lord in us will be strong to subdue the flesh and its many lusts.

In Christ

This sounds somewhat like the people Paul preached to in Romans. Suggesting they sin a lot so that there is a lot of grace. As I recall Paul's response was God forbid. Some people don't truly understand Christianity.

Nicely taken out of context, if what you're trying to say is that these quotes support the idea that it's OK to sin. Paul says that "God forbid" we should take Christ's forgiveness to mean we can go on sinning so that grace may increase. Read Romans.

It does not say that it is okay to sin.

It says we are sinners and fall short of the glory of God. It also says we cannot live a life without sin.

That is why God sent his Son. Because if he had not, there would not have been hope for mankind.

So how can a man escape a life of living in sin. It is called faith in God's Son. A man must be born again.

And when he is born again, his spirit that was dead in him because of sin is reborn through the blood of Christ.

So can a man live a life without sin? No. So what can we do?

We must have faith in God's Son and allow he who lives in us to live his life without sin through us.

For greater is he who is in us then he who is in the world.

When a man is born again, Christ comes and lives in the heart of the man. We must become submissive to his will in order to move from sin.

Only when my cup of self will is empty will it truly be filled by Christ.

Believe in Jesus. He is our only hope given from our heavenly Father.

no where that i'm aware of. i can however run to the
RUACH HAKODESH and ask to be helped through
trials. this is the reason some fall away. they think
christians once saved have no further temptations of the
flesh. but YESHUA does give us a way out. and it certianly
doesn't mean we will never stumble. but then we have to
ask for forgiveness and work on the sin until we are rid of it.
we are to call on YESHUA and the RUACH HAKODESH
in order to overcome the flesh.

It never says we are so weak and puny it's okay to sin. It says if we have the Holy Ghost(God in us) we will be given the power over sin. We have the free will choice to sin or not.

Our Creator compassionately understands that we sin because of our forefather Adam who passed it on to us (Ps 103:14;Rom 5:12).

We can receive forgivness of our sins by exercising faith in Christ sacrificial death. (Acts 10:43)

Exercising faith means to apply Christ's teachings in ones life.

And though God understands our weaknesses and limitations, we should not take his forgiveness and his love for granted. (Gal 6:7)

So, its not 'okay' to sin.
