Yes,,look at the things representing this day,,they are ghoulish and horrible....it is a Pagan Holiday...and Christians should keep their children home,,,or let them attend church activities, planned for this night,,so the kids don't feel left out..One day they will understand why it is wrong.

It's not evil at all. I'm a Christian, but I do not think the way the fundamentalists do. I've never even had second thoughts about this holiday. It's fun for the kids, and I like watching scary movies. Whoever says this holiday is evil probably was told it was evil at a young age, and now they're just bitter about it so they don't let their kids go out. The only evil that happens during Halloween is the outrageous prices for candy caused by the candy companies. And since that is the case, then Easter and Christmas are about as evil as Halloween. I think God would slap every person in the face who stayed home with a grumpy attitude and wasted their life on Church activities and judging other people. Life is too short to worry about these things.

Yes and no. Halloween is supposed to be a holiday for the ones that have passed on from what I was told this morning, but to me? The evil is in the "evildoers" that use Halloween as a way to harm a child and to do bad things. To celebrate Halloween these days with all the evil out there, people need to have parties and invite their friends, the parents taking turns or going in on the treats or however they want to do it. THAT is the safest way to celebrate halloween.

I remember when I was a kid my dumb mom said we had to stop doing halloween because he got a flyer from the church that said the druids extorsionated people in their holy day in order to get offerings.

She also made us stop watching the simpsons for about a year because the school said Homer was alcoholic, etc. (Opus gay school).

Fact n.1 = unlike Islam, halloween does not promote hate.
Fact n.2 = Halloween is extremely fun, I even find it funner than Xmass.
Fact n.3 = It's only once per year, and you need this kind of stuff to get out of the rutine.
Fact n.4 = even as adult, it is really fun to dress up, adult halloween parties are fun. Its always fun and original to use costumes.
Fact n.5 = there's nothing bad with fun.
Fact n.6 = If you stop your children from doing halloween, your children are going to get picked on and laughed at.

Halloween was originally known as "All Hallows' Eve". It's the evening before All Saints' Day, just as Christmas Eve is the evening before Christmas, and All Saints' Day is unquestionably a religious holiday. Most people have simply forgotten the roots of Halloween.

Some of them Jesus freaks will think Halloween is bad, like they think Harry Potter is bad. Assumptions based on ignorance basically.

I let mine dress up as whatever they want and they go out and have a blast. They have their limits to where they're allowed and such... they have to trick or treat with their dad cuz he's bigger and scarier, lol - but they have fun all the same.

The holiday isn't evil, people are evil. I have no problem w/ dressing up in cute outfits, going out for candy. But I worry about perverts!!!!!!!!!! When we were growing up it wasn't considered evil, scary, etc. That's a new thing in the last 15 yrs. Besides, people should pray, decide, then proceed. Just like w/ everything else.

I do not think Halloween is an "evil holiday"...
But if it is, surely the sight of all those beautiful children having such innocent fun, and getting free candy must be incredibly painful for Satan to watch!
What a kick in the teeth for Ol' Scratch!
Either way, my kids (who are grown now) would be dressing up for Halloween...
I can't wait to see my grandkids' costumes!!

No. If I had children, I would. Your kids are going trick'o'treating for the fun of dressing up and receiving candy, and as long as they dress up appropriately, what is the harm? Make sure your kids know what Halloween is really about, and that it's only what you make of it. It's a good holiday because we say it is, not because someone decided any different.

Besides, every kid wants free candy. Just check it first. ;)

Halloween is a Christian Holiday. You guys named it, you guys developed almost all the traditions, and you guys created the myths and legends that are so popular during Halloween.

Stop Blaming us Heathens and Pagans.

Im going to take the hit for the people who have brains here.

I am going to go to the churchs that take you in and preach about the "evil Satanic Holiday." and I am going to beat you all with a rotten smelly fish.

Then I am going to beat some sense into your fool thick skulls and put your head in a paint shaker.

Maybe then god will see it fit to put some sense into your thick skulls.

and i am going to do this after I make sure that filthy inbred you call a "preacher" is unable to reproduce

How many time do I have to tell you people?
A day is a day is a day and so on.

Do you worship Satan?
I didn't think so. In that case it means nothing to you.
celebrate with friends in a nice way and chill out on the evil stuff.

If you are really worried about evil, look at things that confuse the truth.

Raised loving Christmas and 30+ years celebrating it as a borne again believer, and not having anything to do with the false groups, who's names I won't mention at this juncture, I suddenly saw the mask of Christmas lifted two years ago while posing as Santa Clause.

If you want the truth Christmas is the one real believers in Jesus Christ should depart from.
