Decay is just decalcification of your teeth, caused by acid created by the digestion of bacteria on your teeth that live by eating the sugar on your teeth..
If you stop eating, those bacteria cant metabolize sugar, hence they dont create acid.. then there is no cavity

Teeth on a dead person is like a dog bone just sitting there. Teeth on alive people are constantly having food and drink go up into the gums and behind the teeth. The food, drink, and sugar rot and rot the teeth along with it. Many things like soda also make teeth weaker and more susceptible to rot. Always floss, brush your gums, brush your teeth, and brush your tounge, and mouth wash for healthy teeth.
