RB,way ahead of you bud... I got my INDEPENDENT voter card about 3 months ago,and I do agree with you that both parties are not listening to the AMERICAN PEOPLE. I do know,"using the brain that I just grew" that If you vote for a Democrat In the 2008 Presidential election you will live to see a REAL ILLEGAL INVASION that makes what Is happening now look tame......... God help us all If this happens.

The Democrats will do anything to get a vote even if it takes making 12 million illegals ,legal citizens. Both sides need to step up and abide by the law and stop trying to ignore what the American people want done, Not what will get votes.

It has nothing to do with democrats OR republicans. They both suck and they both are the cause of the problem. Grow a brain, think for yourself and vote independant. Only way to have half a chance of getting rid of the illegals.

I don't know what's going on in Congress but ALL illegal labor should be halted, FICA and taxes could then be collected and Social Security could be solvent indefinitely.
We would have money for Infrastructure etc.
20,000,000 workers at 2000/month @ 6.2% FICA with matching amount from employers comes out something around 200 / month extra for 40,000,000 SSI recipients. Right now this is money that is not being collected.
Income tax would be even more.

Yeah, I agree. I gues they are doing it for a purpose of obtaining votes in the future from the illegal aliens they could've helped should the amnesty program had been approved.
But there's no way that's gonna happen, not in a long time.

they say that the illegals want a better life and then they say that half of their money goes to mexico. if the jobs are jobs that americans will not do and are on the lower end of the pay scale how can they be bettering themselves when half of this low income goes back to mexico. could they be doing crime to better themselves
