im tryin 2 increase muscle size
is it better to do 10 reps of 50..or....
do pushups until i cant do it anymore for 3 sets?

Muscle growth happens when you stress the muscles. Therefore you should do as many as you can until muscle failure. (can't do anymore) Do 3 sets like this. You will likely do fewer pushups in the 2nd and 3rd sets. It is also important to give the muscles time to heal up and grow. So you should give yourself a day off in between workouts. it is also important to eat lots of protein, as this is what muscles are made of.

it doesn't really matter. push ups only utilize 60% of the total bodyweight and they are only effective for stimulating muscle growth for several months. the body adapts to the load very quickly so there is not sufficient stimulation to skeletal muscle to provide long lasting increases in size.
