Fear God and He is all you shall fear. pray to him and you can get help. Do not pitty yourself, you will get nowhere. Accept your problem and work on it. Stop "thinking" about what to do and just do something.

Just always remember the Bible says 2 things. "we all have fallen short of the glory of God". That means every time you mess up. Repent sincerely and start again. Also, just the religious song says "we are new every morning". We can begin anew every single day. When you open your eyes. Open your day w/ prayer/praise to God. Just curious, do you have the Holy Ghost? If not, ask God and he'll give it to you. That is the comforter you also need. It is also that check we need. Jesus is as close as the mention of his name. Just keep that in mind. If you are saved all the past is gone-live for today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the Holy Spirit is working in your life and desires you to live a life more in self controlled and not a slave to the desires of the flesh. I have other problem in my life that God is calling me to be better at also. Everyday I wake up and have breath in me I get another chance to do it better. Pray for strength and control of this area in your life. He will ween you off by the self mutilation with your guilt until the drink is not worth the separation you feel from Him.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

not too uncommon; serving God is a spiritual type service and quite often the spirit is willing, but the flesh indeed weak:
Matthew 26:41 - "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Focus on the fact that God causes all things to work together for those who love Him, including afflictions:
2 Corinthians 1:3-6
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

God will clean you, if you want him to. You should read Romans 6-8.
If you want to obey God, just declare with conviction that you want to serve God give up sin, and you believe you can be forgiven through the blood of Jesus. Then declare that you are able to obey.... then obey. You have the power already, just do it. You don't want to drink, stop buying alcohol. Forgive and value yourself!

Everyone does. Like...everyone. That's why God stepped in and paid the price of redemption for us. It's said you'll never start to be good until you throw up your hands and admit you're an utter, complete failure at trying to be good. All God wants is honesty and humble reliance on his mercy.

"I want to be God's son" and you're a female? Hmmm, I think a secular treatment center would give you some coping tools. the rest is up to you.
As for the son part, stay a woman.

If you need to change, he'll do the changing in you. Just stay close to him. Talk to him. Read the Bible. You don't get to heaven by works, but by grace. And remember you're no worse than anyone else.

You have both a physical and spiritual addiction. Treat them both. God heals. Trust me, been there and done that.
