Alcohol is metabolised at the rate of approximately one unit per hour. An average pint of lager (4%) contains about three units of alcohol. So take thirty hours to drink ten pints and you will be perfectly sober - if a little tired.

Uh, you don't. If you're trying to stay sober then why are you drinking 10 pints?
Or drink them over a 10-11 hour period of time.

I personnaly believe that some of us are blessed or cursed, ( decide for yourself) with being able to drink ourselves sober. For these peculiar souls, 10 pints may only be enough to be a tease.

i heard that you could reduce the effects of a hangover by swallowing a tablespoon of olive oil the following day.
however, i suggest that the best way would be not to drink so much in the first place... :P
