I own the 60 gig model. How come I play some PS2 titles, the game sound randomly disappear?

well, I check out the list but non of them listed sound disappearing for the title, is there something wrong with Emotion chips?

you probably need to adjust your settings in the XMB. Some of the really old games use really outdated file extentions for sound ...Try enabling everything in the audio and sound settings areas there are I believe 3 different places to do it. Also check the game options themselves and see if there is some tweeking you can do there. Hope this helps. We have about 50 ps2 and 20 ps1 titles and haven't had that issue yet, but who knows. ALso run update and see if there are any updates that may fix it.
