To listen to the europeans talk we morturize our food, like a cadavor wraped in pastic and put in a refrig. Ha! Its because we are afraid of smells they say, and are afraid of our bodies, and any pungent tastes or ordors. This is why the packaging resembles entombing food they say and we use sprays and potions for cleaning by the hundreds. Thru their eyes we have queer hygenic phobias.

Probably.
When I was a kid we had pumpkin pie out on the counter till it was gone, same with Easter eggs.
Now everything goes in the fridge.
Well, I just made some cookies but I don't think I'll put them in there.

Yes we do, most fruits and vegetables should not be put in the refrigerator because it destroys their flavor (ie tomatoes) and for some like bananas, it causes them to ripen way too quickly.

Yes they do refrigerate far too many times; Food being stored away in the refrigerator is bad for your health IT IS SLOW POISON. (especially over one week) It loses all the nutrients,substance and taste , by the time we chew, swallow and digest into our system it becomes a poison to our bodies..........
