Yes I do support harsh penalties for noncompliant employers.
It's good business that comes off the back of the most vulnerable Americans...our own lower skilled and lower educated, because it undercuts their salary and creates (non) employment for them.
It is SHAMEFUL to turn on your own country's laws and the resulting impact on your fellow Americans in that way.

Without harsh penalties for everyone that hire illegals, there will be no end to the problems that are produced.. The idea of illegals taking away jobs, get out there and take the jobs back. There are alot of people that don't like unions, check and see how many have illegal members. If people would support unions and buy union made items, other items bought to the market by union workers, again there would be no room or need for illegal workers. It's only good business when the people that hire illegals are able to pay less wages and benefits yet charge the going rates for everything. You put yourself in the shoes of anyone that has illegals, you don't have to worry about anyone reporting you, they fear state, federal government, anyone that might say anything that would send them back to their countries.A large number of illegals live in fear, so the different businesses take advantage of that, nothing is traced back to them, that's the main reason there should be the hastiest penalties that can be given out.

Yes, it's good for the employer, not good for Americans! The employer pays the illegal less than he would have to pay a citizen of this country, he can demand that they work longer hours @ the same rate of low pay & if they refuse, he can fire them & hire another illegal. The employer does not pay taxes or S. S. for this person although they may be deducted from the workers pay check, they are not paid into the Federal, State or County & S.S. is not paid into, thus leaving the employer with even more of an edge against competition! This benefits no one but the employer & they should be made to pay the price of cheating all of us fellow citizens!

Absolutly. I would like their business records out in the open so we could get a clear picture out to all these who have bought into the lie that they keep our cost down......our prices rise daily and it's because they want cheaper and cheaper workers to maintain the profits they are used to having......not to save the consumer a dime. Ain't nothing trickling down here but BS. Every day I read about whining companies saying they are going to go bankrupt if they don't raise prices or lay off people or cut wages and then a few issues later they report record profits and billion dollar bonuses for the CEO. I want penalities so severe there's a serious aching. Time someone else pays besides the American people. We have the right to work and survive as well.

The bigger the penalty the better. I'm so tired of people not getting the fact that they are here illegally. They steal social security cards as well as other people's identities in order to get these jobs. It's about time we start doing something to stop them from breaking our laws and if that means going after those companies that hire them so be it. It seems that if someone who isn't American comes into a company with American ID it should alert them something is wrong.

No! It is not good business! I own a small business in Southern New Mexico. If I pay the damn illegals under the table then I get to keep about TWO THIRDS what a legal wage costs. However it costs me a four hundred bed hospital that just closed due to 81 million dollars lost due to illegal aliens never paying their bills. It cost me the ability to speak my native language because the illegal aliens out number American citizens 9 to 3 and they do not bother to even try to learn English any more now They demand I learn Spanish. To Hell with them all!

It's all the employers fault? If someone has a legitimate license and perfect Social Security card, both of which are very easy to obtain, it's the employers fault? Did you know that if the Social Security Admin tells an employer that a Social Security number is invalid the employer is NOT allowed to take any adverse action against the employee? The letter further states that taking action, such as firing or suspending could result in criminal charges against the EMPLOYER. Don't believe me? Form 4002-04 Social Security.

Absolutely..... Good business is following our employment laws and putting your citizen neighbor to work for a decent wage so that he/she can turn around and buy your companies goods or services. Employers are not above the law and enforcement should go after those who choose to hire illegal workers.

Send the IRS in with the INS and make sure they pay triple for all of the employment taxes they've avoided paying by hiring illegals.
