i personally find it attractive, take it from a guy, i think its better to be independent and different then helpless and the same as everyone else

Being an independent woman is good and attractive. Only because your dependent on yourself. You can do everything and everything and not have to rely on anyone else but yourself. Your a person that other people look up too and most men love it. That way there not being taken for granted on worrying about spending too much money on the girl.

Being independant is great in any way but I have a aunt whose 40 shes been living on her own since she was like 30 shes attractive no doubt and lives in a nice house with a nice car and job. Shes been single and independant for so long that alot of my other aunt's now think that she'll never get married because shes usually quite spoiled and does w/e she wants like litreally she drinks were short skirts and all to family functions :| soo i say its goood to be independant but as well be open to other ppl.

Depends how you define "independence". Emotionally no one, man or woman, is "independent", otherwise they wont' say "honey, I can't live without you".
If you mean "financially independent", there are pros and cons. Pros: You and your hubby got double income; you got more chance to be exposed to people and outside world; you may feel cool being on yourself; you have no worry on divorce or break-up with your man in terms of financial obligation.
Cons: When you are "financially independent", that also gives less pressure on your man if he wants to leave you. I'd say, families with both man and wife working are more inclined to divorce. Also, when both of you work, less time is shared by you and your kids.
Talking about "attractive", I'd say, whoever cares for her own attraction to the other gender will certainly be more attractive than those who don't cuz you will spend time and energy to improve that.

I think it's both. Men love a woman who can take charge and not cry at the drop of hat. They love women who can handle her business and still look good at the same time.

both first they r attracted to looks then when they find out that u are holding ur own they become really attracted
