Burton Smith wants to propose that driver's don't get fined for fighting after races, and that winners get a larger share of the purse.
Two questions: Does he have enough pull to change NASCAR's mind, and will these ideas improve the racing?

Was going to tell him it was Bruton Smith, but Wooley beat me to it !! But seriously, Bruton should own and run Nascar. He has insight and intelligence. Big Bill had that,as well. Brian France is just a joke ! Note to Brian; let Bruton take over, and your sagging TV ratings will go back up. If not Bruton, then Eddie Gossage ! And for pete's sake, loose that ugly car of whatever with the stupid wing !!!

Bruton Smith has way too much power. There are reports the he has bought new hampshire motor speedway which means they will likely lose a race to another cookie cutter 1.5 mile track in las vegas. It ashame that brian france doesnt have the grapefruits to stand up to him and ISC.

Dude yeah he has enough pull. He ownes like 5 or 6 trackes and like he's been saying about Charlotte. He can do as he pleases with these tracks. He would either move the tracks or not allow NASCAR to drive on them. So i think he has enough pull.
