Do we get to jump off planes?

Not in Boot Camp. If you want to jump you have to apply for recon. You can go Battallion or Force. Be advised.....there is alot more to this than jumping out of planes or choppers! Not everyone is taken either. Recon is the cream of the Corps.
The real 1%ers. May I suggest that if you want to jump outta perfectly good running planes, the 82nd AirBorne might be your ticket to fly! I work at Ft Bragg with these Top Notch Men and they are no slouches! Hope this helps in some way or another. If you are going to become a Marine< I wish you luck RECRUIT!

No the Marines don’t have any paratroopers. The only way is to join the Marine SOF (Special Operational Forces) like Force Recon. If you what to jump out off a perfectly good air plane, join the Army to become a paratrooper.

It all depends on what your MOS is and what unit u are in. I know a few of the units that have jumpers are ANGLICO, Recon, LSB. Ok guys brain fart if i left anyone out fill it in. Alot of guys want that. Good Luck

If your are in the airborne then yes otherwise no you just basically fire your weapon and go through training such as running getting used to the type of climate ur in.

no you don't. it is pretty much depends on your MOS if you are a infantry then not at all, if you are an airborne then yes
