For me it is simply 'identity'.

illumina - enlightened

I like how the bright "i" at the beginning seems to give you a glimpse of what is to come. The dark "u" gloomy and secretive, standing for the darkness. Then comes again the bright "i", but now as the beginning of something greater. At last you have the bright, enveloping "a", standing for full light and brightness. Now you are enlightened.

Doesn't the whole word incorporate it's meaning in it's sound? It's as if you walk the path of enlightenment while speaking the word. That is almost art!

The most meaningful word to me is YES.

Yes means both yes and no - depends on the person who's using it, and in what situation.
It means "What are you waiting for" or "What's going on" - Yeees...?
It can make people very happy (as the answer to a proposal) or depressed ("Are you breaking up with me?")
Yes can be the most detailed and the most diffuse answer, it is used by more or less everyone several times each and every day - and we hardly ever think about it....

Yes is one of the first words most of us learn, and it is a simple and beautiful word in every language I've ever heard it.

"JA" is yes in Norwegian - what do you call it in your language?
