well the only reason i asked this is because my girlfriend thinks that it is not cheating

Yes...it is considered cheating. Any affection you show towards another individual when you are supposed to be commited to one person is cheating...
Maybe you should decide who you want to be with...

It might just be me, but I consider it cheating. It actually happened to me over the summer. My boyfriend and I met in college and since he lives pretty far away from PA (he lives in Alaska) we didn't get to see each other at all for 3 months. I met this guy at a volleyball league and we started hanging out and one day I kissed him.... I told my boyfriend about it and we worked through it. Not many people that I know would consider that cheating, but I certainly did. It all depends on your perspective.

Depends how you feel about her. You can kiss someone as friends only, but if you have stronger feelings for that other girl then YES YOU JUST CHEATED ON YOUR GIRL.

I have a wife and I kiss other girls all the time. . . My Daughters, my Mom, and often kiss other women on the cheek. So I don't feel that is cheating. . .
