I tired it out. I totally surrender every bit of my heart to him and in the midst of my life change im dealing with on going health issues....well the thing is. I prayed on hands and knees for the pain to go and it didnt.. i asked for help and he moved so slowly .....and i mean i tired for a good two weeks. Im sorry but no one seems to understand my situation. i attempted chruch and everyone just stands and talks to their friends or ppl they know ... no one came up to me. I was meeting with someone fromthe church too and i wanted him to put the word out that i needed some friends from church. and that i was trying to make a life change. I contacted my family which i haven't seen in 10 years because i was living as a openly GAY male. They came to see me, i told them of my decision to walk with god. well at first they seemed willing to help me out but then later they started to pull out. I needed them to help me out of my situation along with my so called friend from chruch

so i started to read the bible and while god allowed me to feel his presence for a brief moment it was like i had to do all these things right away or else i wasn't worthy! The bible is alot of "Dont do this" and "Be this way" How am i suppose to be this totally changed person all of a sudden? god takes his time helping me ...so FINE. im taking my time leaving behide the things im use to...comfortable with ... even people. since god likes to move SLOOOOOW. I started to read christian books and they tell you how to NOT feel this and NOT say that...TRUST GOD.... believe ..step out in faith.. i just about threw up .. i cant even bein to do all those things! they take time like MY life style.. it takes time for me to STOP feeling the way i do towards MEN... its like telling a straight man stop thinking about a women .....I have felt this way since i was a child!!!

I cannot relate to your gay lifestyle, but I can relate to the pain issue. I have lived with a chronic health problem that causes pain in my body, every day. I have had this disease since I was 12 and I am almost 50. I have prayed over and over that God would heal me, and for whatever reason He has not chosen too- however I can tell you from personal experience when you give your life to Christ, He can use you in your pain. Paul in the Bible begged God to remove the thorn in his flesh, and God said, "my grace is sufficient for you". I can say that I still wish God would heal me, however, in the process I have experienced God to be all that I need. I experienced like you people at church that were not there for me when I needed them, however, I can share with you as well, that I believe the reason for that is God wanted me to realize that He alone will always be there for me. My friend, just because God has not chosen you heal you now, does not mean He won't and if you are truly a born again believer- then one day you will be pain free forever, in His presence. You tried for a good 2 weeks? PRAY WITHOUT CEASING MY FRIEND, and you will be surprised the answers that you get- not necessarily the ones you want but the ones that you need. Jesus is the answer to every prayer- prayer is not getting God ready to do our will, it is getting us ready to do His- if this means in pain, so be it. I will be praying for you!!

God is extremely patient. Keep on seeking Him, and never give up; He won't let you get lost unless YOU lose patience.
God bless you!
P.S. Sounds like you want God and other people to come to you. I don't think you'll get results that way.

God is nothing else BUT PATIENT, how long did it take you to turn your life around into the right path.?? You need to talk to the priest and really talk to him and tell him what you are looking for. I'm pretty sure that he can guide you, but he will never know what you need if you beat around the bush. You need to attend church a little more and maybe take part of the parish that helps alot.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

two weeks isn't very long at all to wait for an answer...
as to the church not responding to your pain(what kind?)
sometimes you have to ask more then once becuase those
are people...not God...
sometimes you must bear your cross alone and ONLY
with Christ and God and the H.S helping you..not poeple.
God has more patience then any human i know...

I am sorry that you feel that God is not patient.
If you read the account about the Nation Of
Israel, you will see that God has more patients
than any human will ever ever have. 2Peter 3:8,9
8 However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. 10 Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be discovered.

You cannot make yourself into what you think God wants you to be. It just won't work. God will, over time, change you into what He wants you to be. God is not telling you to live up to a certain standard. None of us are able to live up to God's standard and He knows that.
"Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."
Claim God's promises and relax.

God is infinitely patient.
Characters that don't really exist are about as patient as they come. They'll do nothing forever, because they really can't.
So, since God doesn't exist, it will be a long long time, and he still won't do anything. You can't get more patient than that. God is more patient than a rock.
