How much weight could I possibly lose if I jsut cut out snacks and drink nothing but water? I've been doing it for about a week and have lost 2 lbs.

It all depends on your body composition (there's this funny commercial where a woman says that her husband stoped drinking soda and lost a ton while when she stopped drinking soda, she lost a pound...well, it's funnier to watch...lol)

The point is, we women have it hard when it comes to losing weight, and while that "no soda" rule may work for some of us, it doesn't for all. I would recommend NO soda because of the harm it does to out bones and bodies in general. To lose weight, I would recommend plenty of fruits, veggies, and COMPLEX carbs like brown rice and sweet potatoes (in their natural state) and try to stay away from oily, salty, and usually crunchy (unnatural) foods because many of them contain saturated fats and all kinds of harmful things.

Good luck on your weight loss endeavors!

You don't have to cut out snacks, just cut out empty calories. You can still have an apple or a banana, or crackers with less-fat cheese, or lite popcorn, so long as the side of the package says there's some nutrition to it and not a big old plop of fat.

Skys the limit. It depends on what you were snacking on. Its ok to snack just in moderation. Try those 100 calorie packs, an apple, or an orange will do. Do some cardio to spped up your metabolism in the morning, this will keep it revved up all day long.
