Nervous breakdown...

You emotionally and mentally start to shut down. You just can't cope with day to day life. You might even become semi-catonic (its almost like you are a zombie.. you can look at people, hear them trying to talk to you, even walk and move but you can't communicate with the people). Weird feeling. I guess it would be a major form of dissassociation.

It can almost feel like your nerve endings are super sensative and just being around others makes you cringe from the over stimulation.

And panic attacks. Paranoia.

All in all. Having a nervous breakdown SUCKS OUT LOUD.

nervous breakdown is classified as psychotic episode and is usually brought on by stressful situations. the mind get so stressed that its unable to cope with day today life activities and the person get stressed , agitated, and disruptive unable to trust others and control his own behaviour. his thoughts become uncontrolled and all over the place.
in this situation the mind is exhausted but can not switch off to take rest and the person may not sleep.
sometimes he or she may think that others are after her/him and wants make her life miserable.
the patient may need good rest and may need medication for that and if the situation get out of hand hospitalisation should be the answer to psychiatric hospital.

A nervous breakdown is a layman's term for a severe depression episode. It could be a major depression or the depressive phase of bi-polar disease. If severe enough, it may require brief hospitalization. Both conditions are very treatable with medication and counseling so if you suspect you have it, get yourself to your doctor asap.

I had one in October of last year. My depression went out of control and I became psychotic (seriously). I was having multiple panic attacks a day, I was having intrusive thoughts which is a bit like hearing voices, I had delusions, paranoia and I felt like I was on a bad acid trip. I completely broke down. It was the scariest thing that ever happened to me. I finally went to a doctor and was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I take meds now and I'm fine.

you get so paranoid its unreal. all panic attacks are different.

Mostly through paranoia and heavy drug use, you just feel like some evil spirit is really taking over and that people want to hurt you and nobody likes you.

Loads of different types of panic attacks for different personality's. If you want a panic attack eat some LSD you will soon find out
