Hmm thats kinda odd.. You could buy some cheap popsicles somewhere and let them melt, then rinse the sticks off and use them.

Hobby Lobby Craft Store

Try a craft store. They usually have them. Also, I actually went to the Dr.'s office once and asked for some. They gave me a handful.

Also, another kind of stick you could use is a dowel. They come in a variety of thicknesses. Depends on what kind of puppet you are trying to make, but sometimes these work really well.

Good luck!

Wal-Mart has popsicle sticks in their craft department near the yardage and probably have tongue depressors in the Pharmacy area.

i find popsicle sticks at Micheal's and Joanne's all the time. Any craft store should have popsicle sticks in the craft aisle.

Michaels, or any craft store or maybe even the dollar store. Also sometimes you can find them where you buy the chocolate syrup and ice cream toppings at the grocery store. But the hobby store definitely has them, I have bought them there.

Have you tried a crafts or hobby store? Walmart carries them in their crafts section as well. If you need longer sticks you can use small dowels.

Michael's craft store has them in a variety of colors and sizes. Also, the attached website sells them very cheaply.
