The religion to believe in would be one that stands the test of truth by support of scriptural doctrine and not teachings of men.
How do you find it? By asking questions and getting the answers from the word of God.
To allow any other teaching into to your thoughts causes you to fall into a disapproved state. This could cause you to loose your chance at life, and any hope for future life. Quit being satisfied with teachings of men and test all that you think you know against scriptures and allow the scriptures to guide you to the truth. What is the truth? For example Jesus said at Mathew 5:5 that the meek would inherit the earth, He said this because he knew that God had promised this at Psalms 37:9-11,29. Is this what you believe? If not then you do not follow the truth.
The religion to believe in is one that test all things 2 Tim 3;16
The one that holds true to what is fine. 1 Thessalonians 5:21

I believe in God: Yahve, Jesus, Holy Spirit. I do not beleive in the religion. The religion is the group of ways, ceremonies, rites, ideas, used by man to relate with God.
If you are asking which religion Im a member of, then the answer is Christianity. Protestant.

I don't believe in a "religion". I believe in Jesus. Religion won't save me--faith in Christ will.
Probably only true Christians recognize this distinction--it's because we serve a risen Savior. All other world religions are based on the teachings of a person/prophet/religious leader etc. that has come and gone and is no longer living. I know I'll get some dispute on this, but the power of the resurrection is the whole basis for our faith and what sets it apart from other religions.

I'm a Buddhist, but the Buddhist philosophy discourages taking anything, including Buddhists philosophy, as unquestionable fact. I have found, through study and reflection, the Buddhist philosophy and teachings to be the most advanced form of psychology and tool for studying why we act and think the way we do, and thus a tool to master the mind and end the suffering we cause ourselves and others, but I have no religious beliefs.

Yes...I'm not disappointed. You got the reply I knew was coming: religion has hurt more people than it's helped. That's the only proposition in the universe that's easy to say and impossible to prove. Eureka!
