I may be a little dense after 30 years in the Army.....but is there a question here somewhere? You sort of need to have a question in order to get an "answer"
BTW. The term "subservience" carries a subliminal message that is not exactly accurate. The military service does require obedience, much like that expected in the civilian business world. Your supervisor at McDonald's will not tolerate
insubordination either.
(you added;I added)
Still no question.....I would surmise from your actions....You do not know what a question is !!!??? ergo the military service and you will never have to worry about each other

First, this is an answer, not a question. It doesn't make any difference what punctuation you put after it. Just because you don't know how to punctuate doesn't make a question either.
Second, you owe it to yourself to find out first had what you're talking about. You ought to join the military. Of course they want you to obey orders. The reason is that someday somebody may yell "DUCK!" If you don't follow orders you will likely be killed. That's why.
Third, a soldier or sailor doesn't have to follow a direct order from a superior that he knows to be wrong. There is a protocol for doing just that. However, the soldier or sailor must be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN he or she is right. There can be a lot of trouble involved with disobeying a direct order.
Fourth, it is against YA policy to post stuff like this with the sole intent of causing hate and discontent.

The military does not require subservience. It does require obedience. We swear an oath to obey all orders given by superiors and to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

The unqualified belief and use of a chain of command will win battles, lack of obedience and discipline will lose battles....sorry.

you might be asking why military people agree with Bush's war policy. They have been sworn to "not disagree". As an American I can accept that, as a person of faith, Bush is the person they can't disagree with, in ww2 Hitler was a person you couldn't disagree with, as a human, I disagree with both.
