1) EVERY religion states that its respective god says "You will not take other gods before me."
2) EVERY religion says that THEIRS is the right one, and all others are false.
3) EVERY religion says that THEIRS is the only was to salvation.
4) EVERY religion promises some sort of damnation for not believing.

By 'every' I mean all 5000 identified (so far) religions/gods in human history. If they ALL say the same thing, and your odds of believing in the RIGHT god is .0002, tehn how do you justify saying "MINE is right and I don't care what YOU say, I believe and that's it!"
If you were born Muslim, you be Muslim. If you were born as a Cherokee Indian, you would believe in Ghigua. If you were born Greek, you'd believe in Apollo the god of the sun. If you were born Maya, you would believe in sacrificing someone every day in order for the sun to rise.
So aren't you REALLY religious and believe in the god you do because that's what you were TOLD to believe as a child?

My religion does not state any of those things. Today I became the only member of 'Picoism' and us Picoists do not believe any of those things yet we have a higher power. I just gave up on trying to fit in somewhere.

check this out though, every other religion makes you do something for salvation, while Christianity says that all you have to do is believe, and after that God will reveal things to you, and your belief will grow into love and the reason you do not understand is because you are spiritually blind if you would really see your condition you would see you are a person bound for eternal death, as with other religions but you see this is what makes Christianity different is that it provides a way out, what other religion has its Deity DYING for EVERYONE, even NON believers. so think before you speak next time, and I will be praying for you everyday.

Yes.

If the same fundie christians in the US were born and raised in Saudi Arabia, they would be fundie muslims, and would be certain christianity is false.

A benevlovent omiscient god would also be able to realize that for most, religion is really not a choice, but a product of their environment.

Very good. Of course every religion claims to be the right one. If you didn't think your religion was the right one, you'd change religions; right?

The next step in logic is to reason that since all religions contradict one another at some point, the cannot ALL be true.

They are either ALL wrong, or, ONE is right and the rest are wrong.

Many religions believe in more then one god.

The ancient Greeks (and many other religions) don't have a separate place of damnation. All dead go/went to the same place.

ADONAI has been around for thousands of years. HE
has not changed or ever fell out of worship. the Jews
have shared their faith with the world. we have only one
Creator/ADONAI. anyone worldwide can follow HIM.
archeology has proved the Bible correct many times
over. Biblical names were changed from the Hebrew
to English and that is why the English names are not
found in Sanskrit. but they do show up in the ancient
text of other dynasties. in their Hebrew form.
ex: solomon/shlomo

Muslims, Christians and Jews all worship the same God.

All Christian religons are a branch off of the first one

Hope this clarifies a bit

Off the bat, you're way off on no. 1. Polytheism.

Also, off on the other 3. If you posted this hypothetically your point would have been stronger.

But I do still see what you meant.
