I was in a relationship with this guy I really care about. But right now we are taking a break. He said that some past experiences made him cold and he doesn't think he can ever truly love someone again. The girl he used to be with cheated on him, totalled his truck, and miscarried his baby on purpose. He says that he doesn't want to ever trust anyone again. He says our relationship wouldnt be that good b/c of his insecurities and b/c he doesnt believe in love anymore. How do I deal with this? Any ideas on what I should say to him? I really don't want to let him go just b/c some stupid girl made him like this. I just don't know what to do...

Darn people are so ignorant..... ITS NOT HER FAULT!!! Thats why he is like this, he's dealing with the fact that he hasn't realized how much HE IS TO BLAME!!!! THis is SO important, because it isn't trust in other people he lost, its trust in himself to pick THE RIGHT ONE, thats been lost. He doesn't feel that yet, he rather blame everyone else, so yep his still tring to figure the world out. Good thing you left him, that self-lothing bs is the frist step in recovery. You can't do anything tell he gets past that point and realize how much he has to blame and THEREFOR how much POWER he really has to AVOID situations like this gain. Tell he matures to that point, he's just a hurt little puppy. If you COULD help him, would be great! Because sometimes people get complexes about these things and NEVER gain back their trust in themselves and their fellow man.... on you.... you know the problem now....

An easier way to stat it to a person!

"There will always be sluts, w!ores, b!tches, and tricks, its up TO YOU, to avoid them."

Simplier, and makes sense, because its true the only way to shield ourselves from these people is to see them for what they truly are. We fool ourselves, and we need to learn from that, if not, well you end up like him.......
