but I still thinks its a little strange that not once in my WHOLE life I never even remembered the smallest detail, and the over all expieience is alien to me......
also I'm very creative so that eliminates that clue :(
and i dont really think I am that good of a sleeper lol.......it usually takes me a while to fall asleep and I have restless leg syndrome and some breathing problems occasionally, but still wierd
WISH i could have one dream lol
i barley under stand the concept

hmmm good question. It sounds like your doing fine! When a person has dreams.. they are usally derived off of being stressed or haveing strong emotions about something. Its perfectly normal not to have any.

It could well be that you have never dreamt of anything memorable yet. Perhaps if you had a dream like being in an accident or something you would remember it. I do think however that you dream - it sound highly unlikely that you don't, because we all have REM sleep when our brains 'destress' and subconsciously deal with our problems. Perhaps you've just had a carefree life, lol!
PS - then based on your comments, I pray that you will have your first dream tonight and it will be a GREAT one!

You have, you just don't remember.
My husband is the same way, no dreams. When I try to tell him about mine, he laughs. Are you very creative? Or are to a straight, linear thinker? Hubby is as straight as they come, little or no imagination. That might be a clue.
If you are getting good sleep, don't worry. If you want to try to remember dreams, tell yourself when you are getting ready to nod off, "wake me when I dream." This might work. Problem is dreams are not well remembered. They fade before you are even completely awake.

it's not that you've never had one - you've never been able to remember.
you probably shift very quickly from REM to deep sleep and back again. it is during that short period of "half sleep" that memories are formed and a person wakes up remembering a dream. There is nothing wrong with you. Try when you first wake up before anythign else writing down little tidbits that you mgiht remember. moods? colors? noise? anything at all.

The dreaming cycle of sleeping is an important part of your night's rest. If you truly have never had a dream there may be something that can help you. Talk with your doctor if this greatly concerns you.

Wow...having dreams is awesome!
And yea you always have a dream every time you sleep. And its always most likely that someone forgets it. Because if one has a "long" dream, it actually lasts for a couple seconds-minutes in real life.

You just never remember them. You probably sleep very well. Those of us who recall our dreams vividly often have sleep apnea or other disorders or interruptions which cause us to awaken in the middle of a dream.

Don't piss yourself of. RELAX when sleeping. Maybe because of your desire to dream, you stress yourself and you cannot. What is more, you may sleep always so good and dreams don't appear. These are only the basic assumptions I can make...;)

It isn't that you don't dream, its just you don't remember them. if we didn't dream we would probably go into overload. I hardly remember my dreams either so don't worry. they do have dream books though that help you hone your skills to remember your dreams and you can find them at barnes and nobles or at any book store.
