Finish school first, then go to college, when the time comes to graduate, you will have a lot more under your belt to make this decision. If you do enlist, then at least you can become and officer and enjoy a lot more benefits then the enlisted do.
As for your age, sorry, you can't go in until 18 (under that age requires written permission from parents).
As far as needing to be a High School graduate to enlist, that is no longer the fact. The military (especially the Army and National Guard) have lowered the standards just to fill their quotas.
Good luck to you in what ever choice you make, at least your man enough to ask.

You have to wait till you are 17. At that point, I'd recommend joining the national guard. You can sign on your 17th birthday drill with pay while waiting to go to basic over the summer. Then you'll have full 100% tuition assistance for college & no be deployable till after you finish (including SMP).
You got some time left. You don't have to go overboard, but spend some of it getting in shape.

you cannot enlist until you are 17 (with Parental Permission and a HS diploma). You cannot be in DEP longer than 12 months.
I'd wait until after you graduate High School before even going to see a Recruiter.

Relax.
Wait tell you are 18.
After you get out of High School you will go through more changes than you will for the rest of you life.
So enjoy your youth now and not wish it away.

its up to you, as for myself i joined before my school year ended cause i figured it was kinda too late to look into colleges and seeing how my brothers and sister didnt choose to follow through in college that i might fall in the same path, at least in the military you pretty much have a secure life for the next couple years

You can certainly begin the application process now to be ready, including your physical fitness readiness. However, I would recommend not fully committing if you are not yet sure.
