Do all men act like this?

I am one of those girls that never get into a relationship. I was always on the road modeling or working so I never had time to get into a relationship. I am know finally settled down with a man that is signed with the same modeling company as me. BUT here is the question. He is so so mean when we fight. Above the normal level. I am from Ia and I moved to tx to be with him. When we fight he tells me to go back to ia and that i sould go back to somewhere people care. Is this something all guys just say out of anger. He is so sweet one day then when he gets mad her just dont give a **** it seems. We are both so busy with modeling and school that when we have time off I want his attention and I dont think that is bad. I get pissed if he thinks it is more important to play online, we only get a day a week to spend time together.. that is where are fights come from. should I not get upset? and do all men get this upset and say these mean things? or do I just say fine, and leave! HELP

Please don't put up with this man, it makes me sad thinking how mean he is to you. A nice guy doesn't fight so much with his girlfriend. Go find someone else, you deserve much better than that a**hole.

It sounds like both you and he have very little experience in dealing with relationships. Getting angry when you're upset is the wrong way to handle any situation. Being understanding and caring about the other person's feelings is what it's all about. Maybe he has anger issues. You can't change that about someone. They have to want to seek counseling and change themselves. You're strong for wanting to stay with him, but remember, both you and he only get one day off from being away. Us men are different in that we like having our space to do things on our own. You should find outside hobbies also for your time off. And, if things get any worse, get out of this situation right now and stop wasting your time. Not all men act like this. Its just his personality. Talk to him about it, and tell him to think before he say something when he gets mad. I'm sure he doesnt mean it, because a lot of people do say mean things to hurt each other when we're mad, but we dont mean it. Just talk to him, communication is the most important step in a successful relationship.

No, men should not say things like that during a fight, and men who care about you do not say things like that. You shouldn't have to fight at all; you should try to discuss this with him rationally. If he's not going to be rational, it's time to move on.

I'm a firm believer in treating each other respectfully even if we disagree. If he can't help saying mean things to you, then you have to ask yourself, is this the type of relationship you want in the longrun? I suspect your answer will be "no". In which case, I would tell him that if he can't behave like an adult, that you will be on your merry way. Then if he does it again, follow-through or he'll walk all over you.

Do all women stay with men who abuse them?

This kind of thing bothers me so much. I'm a good looking, professional guy who treats women with respect and kindness, and I am on the receiving end of heartbreak most of the time. Yet time after time I hear of women who put up with being called foul names and treated in an awful manner.

Everyone says things they don't mean sometimes when they are angry but if he is saying something that knows is going to hurt you, then that is not right. Tell him next time he decides to tell you to move back to LA, you're really going to. But if he doesn't care, then it isn't worth it to be upset.
