He has a security issue or social skill issue. Be friendly, but don't try to coax into dating. Until you know more about him, it is not worth the risk.

No, Have you talked to a serial killer before?
Let me inform you that professional killers are super "normal"
and very friendly with people. (You would never suspect a serial killer to be a serial killer if this was the case It would be easy to find them.)
I would definitely date him, Specially since no one seems to know about him- I would want to be the first to know about this guy. Just so I don't incorrectly profile him as a serial killer before getting a chance to meet who he really is.
And most people that have had a rough life with their family
are less likely to tell the world about them. I wouldn't mention my family to just anybody. You kinda have to trust people before you open up to them. But thats just me.
Everyone has their own thing going on.
:)

Its usually best to go with your gut feelings. If you like him but not sure what to do, be careful about dates. Go out only in a group or in well lit areas, or better yet take time out to try to talk to him,, some people take longer to open up than others, maybe hes just a very very insecure guy with nothing to hide, it just takes a litlle efford to get him talking.
Serial killers are usuallu very normal people which is why they are so hard to catch, so throw out that theory..lol
follow your instincts.

No, that doesn't sound like a serial killer. Sounds like he might just be embarassed about his family.. maybe they're abusive or alcoholics or, who knows. There's lots of reasons why someone might not want everyone to know their family. Overly courteous is much better than completely not courteous, don't you think? And quiet is so much better than obnoxious and overbearing, in my opinion. Sounds like a catch to me.

it doesn't really describe a serial killer type of guy. but i think he's lying about the parts where he says that he's never kissed a girl. i wouldn't trust him on that part. but you should just try and get to know him more before making any moves.

sometimes we should all be so fortunate to have a quite and courteous person. I think sometimes we should honor those that don't want to talk about their family and just leave it at that. We all say things that sometimes gets misinterpreted.
If you have a problem, speak up and ask questions, You have that right, just as he has the right not to answer.

Maybe but he probably has a few good characteristics. I'd probably stay away though unless he had a really nice car and was willing to dirve me around in it everywhere.
