If you can't find an answer, just do like all the other prophets and make one up. Yes, you to can be a mesiah. And since you are working with the current state of the world, you can have a more modern religion that is more in touch with our everyday lives. Your followers can easily identify with you and your wishes. The universe created gods sounds as good as anything else. Prophesies are easy, lets see, Jews will continue to fight Muslims, and vice-versa. The economy will get worse. There will be energy shortages, food shortages and at some point in the future there will be a big flood/earthquake/volcano/train wreck.
Don't forget to ask for lots of donations...

You could make an argument that the early Judaic mythologies have the gods being created from something other than themselves. Greek mythology tends to be that way and taoism has gods of all sorts in everything and you can argue that those things had to exist before the gods could get there.
Some traditions believe that god and the universe are the same thing so that neither would have created the other. Check out Spinoza if you are interested in that idea. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinoza
