No friend, that is not what the Bible says. There are no tricks to make God obey our whims. If we put Him first in life He will provide our needs, but it is not about what we get out of GOd but how we choose to live our lives for Him that matters.

No, before we go start praying for everything we want we first have to know the TRUTH, and now be selfish, WE have to know That Jesus already gave us the one thing we truly need and that is salvation, Jesus went to the cross for our sins in our place, we need to repent and turn away from the bad things, we need to ask The Lord to forgive us of all our wrongs, and ask The Holy Spirit to come into us and be our guide, then we need to build a personal relationship with God and when we pray for things, God will hear us, God can do , what seems to us is the impossible, God can do it, and if it is in Gods will, in our best interest, then God will do it, God answers our prayers, but we don't know until we ask,
I am married now to someone I thought I would never see again, someone I thought I had totally ruined my relationship with, and God brung us together, and put us in seperate hospital rooms at the same time to make us see that alcohol was to be No MOre, then brung us back together, after I had got out of Church one day then we dated again , started going to church together and wound up married, and now we are looking at a house, sounds strange from two people that spent most of thier lives homeless, and looking for that next bottle, now we take it one day at a time, and we have God.

When we pray our prayer has to be in line with God's will. God already knows what you need so use the lords prayer as an example.
Matthew 6:5-9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

No. If that were true, it would mean that if you prayed for something "bad" and fasted your prayer would be answered. That doesn't make a lot of sense, especially considering that many good, pious, and observant people have prayed for things that would benefit everyone and their prayers have not been answered.

I don't know if that is true , I am sure in some cases that may be . Lastly , God will only answer prayers for things that HE thinks is good for you. If you ask for money and He knows that it will eventually be spent on sinful things you can forget it. As far as that is concerned God will only give you what you can properly handle. If you ask God for something that will further His plan for salvation, then there is nothing that you could ask for that is impossible , and He will grant it.

No I have never heard that you must fast for one day to get your prayer answered. I find in Matthew 7-7-8 Jesus saying, "Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you; For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." If you will read all of the scriptures in that chapter; you will find that Jesus is speaking of much more than just our earthly needs but the Gift of the Holy Spirit.
In Hebrews 11-6: you will find another scripture that will help you in your quest for getting answers to your prayers. The scripture says; "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: For he that comes to God must believe that He Is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."
Compare these scriptures also with Luke 11-13.

If you fast for three days, the only prayer you'll want answered is food.

Knowing that He knows what is best…
Isaiah 55:9
and that He wants what is best for us…
Jeremiah 29:11
then we should pray that our will be conformed to His.
Matthew 6:10
This is not to say it is wrong to ask for what we want but we should ask that, in all things, that His will be done.

Praying and wishing do not work. Regardless of whether you fast, skip a meal or eat like a pig. If you THINK about it, you will understand why prayer cannot work. If you think about it but you STILL can't figure it out or understand, email me and I'll explain it to you.

Absolutely not, you need only ask for a better heart. the only thing matters is in the end is how you are remembered
