Why should it be so surprising that imaginary beings are a little more accomodating to our fantasies than real ones?

When we love the TRUE GOD, the God of Abraham, the Father of Jesus, He is faithful to forgive us all our sins.
But, yes, God forgave me a long time ago for things I still find difficult to forgive myself for. I love my Saviour, and feel shame for those things I did. I know I shouldn't, but disappointing God is hard to shake.

We can not possibly be as Merciful as God is. But if we don't forgive others who did wrong to us, we can not also expect God forgive us.

There is only one God, and you can't find forgiveness if you believe in more gods.

not for me. I ask God for forgiveness and then i forgive myself then i go on with life with a lesson well learned.

We are too hard on our selves. The old cliche, to err is human, to forgive divine gets new meaning when you realize that each of us is the I AM.

No gods exist to forgive me..... and with my being a Nihilist and all, I necessarily have no regrets... and thus have nothing to forgive myself for.

Absolutly. people need something to move on simle because the human element is weak. our feelings and emotions are usless. we would be much better off with none
