Doubtful if it is strictly on the internet. If you have met in person and connected of course love is possible but if it is only via internet people can say anything they think you want to hear.

My sister meet her boyfriend on the internet. They seem happy. he is a really nice guy. A bit of a dork, but that doesnt matter to my sister. Also my uncle left his wife in tennesse to get married to a woman in new york he met on the internet. they have been married for something like ten years. Crazy

i don't understand your question. love as a thing refers to a specific kind of social concept, which has a basis in biochemistry. humans are animals. there is no metaphysical or magical thing called love. however, due the ambiguity of your wonderfully articulated question, i am purposed to answer one of its various possible interpretations. yes, one can make love on the internet. one can love the internet as one loves a dog or a woman or a flower or a vibrator et cetera...

actually yea.. it def. is. my dad started going on dating sites after my momma died and now i have a stepmother. they got married in less than 7 months of knowing each other. sooo yeah its def. possible. just be forewarned.. some are not who they say they are. there have been transgendered, or simply cross dressers on online posing as other people/genders,(which is not a problem... but could be quite a surprise. and it could lead to unwanted contact.) as well as some child/ adult predators. i know this one lady had killed her x husband and she was online talking to my dad b4 we found out who she actually was. not everything is what it seems. soo live it up
