Okay -- here at the job we had a chili cook off. Out of the 4 chili's, all received votes except one.
The person that didn't get any votes saw the paper that the votes were written on.

This person hasn't said they feel any ways about it. But I know how I'd feel. What do we say to her?? Alot of us feel bad that she didn't get votes. :-(

(Note: Her chili WASNT bad. It had a good mixture of meat, beans and rice. It tasted just like everyone else's. It's just that many people had different reasons why they chose what they chose -- for example, I HATE beans in my chili so the ones with beans did not get my vote.)

If she's not saying anything, then don't bring it up. If she ask YOU what you thought about it, tell her the truth but not in any harsh way.

It's not the end of the world. Tell her to keep trying, that you thought it was good but personally don't like beans. If she wants to talk more about the culinary arts of chili then be there for her. Really, it's not a big deal and I'm sure she's not kicking herself for it.
I personally am vegetarian, so I probably wouldnt have liked any of them.....it's all about the audience (people you are serving to) so she's bound to get rave reviews by some people and not others.

Don't say anything. She probably just wants the whole thing to be over with and talking about it will just prolong it. Let it go.

I probably wouldn't really know what to say. I most likely wouldn't say anything unless she brought it up. Why embarrass her further, you know what I mean?
