I bought an elcetric guitar with a 10 amp speaker great buy for $199.99 I am a beginer but want to know why it doesn't scream like some do it just sounds like a accoustic guiter on a mic basically how do I make it scream like in November rain do I need a bass guitar or do I need to tune it differently it just doesn't seem to riff at all yes I can't play much yet but I want the sound of electric guitars u normally hear.

First of all, you need something more powerful than a 10 amp speaker. You would also want to get an effects board or at least a distortion pedal.

You need to purchase a pedal for it to sound different. Go to Guitar Center I am sure they can help you find one.

An Acoustic and an Electric are two completely different animals. I don't think acoustics scream.

dude, you paid ONLY 200 bucks for a geetar. wanna scream like the big boys, then your going to have to fork out a **** load more money. i have a fender that i paid 2300 for but been playin for 10 yrs. My advise is to just learn the basic's first and then move up to as you get better. more $ = better sound. Rock on Slash

Get a distortion box to hook up inline with your amp.
