Okay this guy asked me out. I said yes. While we went out I started noticing his flaws and became interested in other guys so I dumped him. He asked his best friend to ask me why. I told him the truth "other guys...flaws..." Well when I said "OTHER GUYS" his friend thought I meant him. I kinda do like him and don't want him to know because I just dumped his best friend. He was going to ask me out before and didn't because best friend liked me. I like him and he likeD me.

How can I like someones best friend when I just dumped them???

Is that wrong? I mean I like the friend .

Well, it sounds like you're afraid of ramifications that he may get from his best friend. It's clear that it could be awkward. So, if he asks you out, tell him that it has to be okay with his friend that he wants to date you. Explain that you would not want to jeopardize their friendship for a relationship.

Typically, this won't raise many issues, especially if you didn't date the first guy very long.

Is the guy that you dumped upset? If so, it's probably best to stay away from the best friend. It's not wrong that you like his friend, it's natural. However, give it some time. Let the dust settle. Wait until your ex finds another girl. Also, make sure that his friend is really what you want.

Remember, what goes around comes around. Karma will come back in bite you in the butt if you don't handle this situation carefully. Make your decisions carefully and wisely and try not to hurt anyone in the process.

You don't want to have a reputation as "that girl" who jumps around from guy-to-guy. Trust me.

It depends. How long have you been dating the guy you dumped before you started liking his best friend? You can't help who you like, but I do think there's a time frame e.g. if you're dated him for like a month or two and then dumped him, then go for it. But if you dated him for a year, there could be tension there between the three of you. Go with your heart...what do you have to lose.

Babydoll, don't feel guilty about liking his best friend. You stopped going out with the original guy because he's needy and insecure, especially when he asked his friend to ask you why you did the right thing and told him the truth about why you stopped seeing him, which I give you kudos for. Most girls string guys along or don't tell them he truth as to why they dumped them so they can move on, but I digress.

As for the best friend, go out with him! And if he loses his weak a** needy, and insecure friend, so what, the best friend is better off for not having a b*tch-made loser lingering around, calling himself a bff.

Well yea, it is kinda wrong. The friend might like you for dis-sin his friend and they may think you have a problem rejecting these guys for their flaws. You can't being going out with best friends and have everything be peachy, it doesn't work that way and I think you know that.

I don't see what is the problem unless you are still friends with the guy you dumped. But if he was a real friend he would want both you and his best friend to be happy. Unless you are using the best friend, then I don't see a problem.

You can like whoever you want. If you're worried about ruining friendships, that's the decision you have to make. Is it worth ruining someones friendship, and go out with a guy you like...or no? (Cuz whether you like it or not, it IS gona cause some drama between the two best friends). Why did you go out with guy number 1, if you liked his best friend? Or did you like both...you naughty girl ;)

If your ex is mature enough to allow his friend to go out with you, than there isn't anything wrong with that. But honestly speaking....it really doesn't matter what your ex thinks because you do not have to ask him anymore if you like any other guy if it's ok with him. So it is just personally up to you and the guy.

you starting seeing his flaws? what exactly were these flaws? because you may be looking for flaws in everyone.

sounds to me like you don't know you want. but if you do, you need to be honest with the guy's friend. you are not the 1st guys anything so it's free game.

but realize that sometimes to like someone truly and fully that includes accepting their good and bad.

just be honest and stop worrying.
