No I do not drink are smoke or take drugs. I work full time and go to college to try to get an education to get a better job. I know that I have not been paying as much attention to her as I should have. She found a boyfriend and ran away to live with him . We had to call the police to bring her home. Before that happened, she could go to his house almost all the time, go to the movies or out to eat with the boy and his family. Even went to sea world with them. She had it made. She just could not go every time she pleased or stay as long as she pleased. The boyfriend was over her visiting her and my husband found them in her room with him on top of her under the blanket. He got very mad and started yelling out them and called my daughter some bad names. She started to lie more to get her way. I did not know that she would stoop so low as to tell CPS that we were so abusive. I know that life here is hard. We are very poor and do not get to do anything that other people get to.

Find out the reason they took her. Get yourself a CPS worker,. find out what she says the problem is, and try to fix it.
They don't like to take kids from their mom...so I don't even want to know why they did. If you haven't done anything wrong and she's just acting out..nine out of ten times she'll want to come home on her own. If something is wrong in your household, work closely with the CPS worker and fix it. First step set up regular visits if you can and talk to her and find out what's really going on with her. She might be acting like she doesn't need you..but trust me, this is the time she needs you the most. Listen without defending, Talk without offending!

CPS usually do not take away children unless they have no choice. They want families to stay together and usually they have a list of things that you need to do, get etc..., if you want to get your child back.
Find out what it is that they want or need from you and then do it. Prove to them how sincerely you want your child back and that you are willing to do whatever it takes.
After a certain length of time, if you don't do what they ask they can do what is call TPR, which means termination of parental rights. That means that you are no longer recognized as her parent and you have no more rights. At that point she can be adopted by someone else!!! Don't let it get to that point.
Good Luck!

CPS usually keeps kids with their parents if at all possible, so for them to take her away, there must have been a really good reason. You should have thought of that before you did whatever it is you did to have her removed. This is a "you made your bed now lie in it" situation

What was the reason they took your child??? It depends on why she was taken away. How many children do you have ? How many are living with you if any? Are you a drug user, selling drugs, neglect, child endangerment? For CPS to be involved and remove a child they have to have a valid reason. Are you not following the guidelines random drug testing, going to AA, going to rehab etc.. If you are one of those women who has 5 or more kids and on drugs then they need to take your kids while you clean up your act. You also need to not have anymore children if you are on public asst.

What were the reasons they took her? How old is she? And If I had to hook on the corner I would raise the money to get an attorney. Work two jobs whatever it takes. Jump Through whatever hoops they want you to jump through. Be a responsible parent and she will come back.
