You're excited but learn how to control urself and that "pain" and hardship converts into beauty, grace, spleeeendor.......lol!
Just as saving your money will allow you to buy something better!

I don't believe in casual sex, so any long term "sex fast" was when I was single. Not including the time from birth to loss of virginity, the longest period was 4 years.
I wouldn't say it was helpful or harmful either way.

In my position it would be detremental to my health. I'm married and my wife would assume a sudden cease of interest meant that it would be reasonable to crack me on the head for cheating.
Now I can see that it makes sense if your single and only getting any from unrealistic unattached relationships. Then well, your much less likely to get diseases, though probably more likely to be irratated.

I was celibate for 3 years after getting back active with my church and before getting married.
It was really cool to have saved it for my fiancee'/ wife.
Of course, 2 years later, I found her on my couch with a UPS man, but I was still glad I waited.

It initially paid off by gaining a little weight and saving something. On resumption, my situation became worse as my libido increased tremenduously. Don't try it.

I went 4yrs, don't do it.... I just got sick of it and didn't want to try, but if you don't use it you lose it and it takes a long time to get back in the flow.
