Yes, carry a flashlight or wear glow-in-the-dark necklace/bracelet so that you are more visible to cars.

Wear something reflective and always walk against the traffic. Only stop at the homes that have lights on. You waste time otherwise. Many people turn off their lights on halloween because they don't want visitors. Try to go to the crowded areas (in town, a lot of houses) early so that they do not run out of candy. Have fun!

Yes, wear an over sized jacket over your costume but leave the front of it open so people can still see your costume, then when you go to a house and they are giving out really good candy walk back out to the street, make sure they are not watching, pull your jacket up over your head, and button it up (leaving a button undone at eye level so you can still see) then return to the same house as the "Headless Horseman" thereby doubling up on yer favorite candy without having to travel any further distance. Now have fun and be safe!

Carry flashlights!
Get glo sticks and necklaces and place them on odd body parts like the ankles and wrists.
Go to the local businesses that are still open.
Go to the local churches, in our area alot of them are doing a trunk or treat thing which is just like trick or treating only church members sit outside and give candy to kids out of the trunks of their cars.
Go early!

go earlier trick or treat is best around 6pm have fun and be safe and dont eat any treats until your parents check it
