2 years ago I went to this strange haunted house where we sat in the audience pretending like we were being tortured in Hell for all eternity while the demons ran around us with chain saws. Then saw a play about how we needed ask Jesus into our hearts so we didn't go there for real. It was the craziest thing. Have you ever been to a hell themed haunted house?

I watched a documentary on Hell Houses a few months ago. Although I enjoy a good scare, the belaboring messages- abortion is bad, suicide is wrong, atheism is evil- diminished their frights.

In this film, the creators of the Hell House used realistic, violent scenarios to preach their message. Demons skulked around people, uttering dark thoughts into the character’s minds. One particularly gruesome scene depicts a troubled teenage boy, after bringing a gun to school and shooting his teacher and himself, being drag into the darkness of hell.

At the end of the tour, patrons chose whether or not to accept Christ and go to heaven or deny him and go to hell. It’s not that easy, is it?

Whenever I go to a haunted house, the air brakes from the protruding monsters scare me more than anything.

First, I don't celebrate Halloween, but that's another discussion. I don't believe in paying people to scare me, because real life is scary enough! I will say that that's a pretty lame evangelism idea, though. I can't speak for Him, but I don't think Jesus would do that.

Yep. When I was a teenager we went to what looked like a really cool haunted house. It was a place like that. We actually booed on the way out. It's false advertising.

No and as a Christian, I'm totally against those because I feel that using fear and intimidation to preach the Gospel is wrong.

God is love and we are to spread The Message as a labor of love. Our church is putting on a pirate-themed carnival for kids in order to help spread the Gospel.

Christians in the South really have nothing better to do. They make the Cure, the Smiths and Imo seem cheerful and optomistic!

I want to go to one SO badly, it sounds hilarious. But, I live in a large East Coast city, not Missouri, or Ohio, or one of those places where people do this.

Those that don't find The Lord won't have to worry anymore about going to a haunted house, and no thanks, I've seen enough for now.
