If you are interested in one that is very good for diabetics (meaning low-carb) that tastes great - won't raise blood sugar, check out Dreamfields brand. They taste just like normal noodles and you can do anything with them you'd do with regular noodles - they just won't raise your blood sugar if you're diabetic. If that isn't a problem for you, any of the white noodle brands are basically the same. Mission seems to be the generic one we see.

I love wholewheat vermicelli (angel hair) pasta as I find a lot of the other whole wheat is gritty.

I like pasta with no egg in it and I'm guessing this will be lower fat and cholesterol - fresh pasta is usually an egg pasta and tagliattele is often an egg pasta.

Barilla or De Cecco are 2 Italian brands that are good and use 100% durum wheat. - you can tell good pasta in the packet - the clearer it is - the better it is - check out a cheap pasta brand and see how dark it is and looks 'grainy'.

Try any organic brand of pasta for white noodles. There is also a brand that makes whole grain and wheet noodles that are really really good. I think its Healthy Harvest brand.

The "No Yolks" brand egg noodle are made without the egg yolk. It makes it a little healthier for those on a restricted diet.

I use Buitoni, Barilla , Di Vella, Di Cecco, I find that the others contain too much starch.

There isn't one. Just use whole wheat - there is no difference in taste or texture, just a whole lot more nutrition.
