my dear friend ,I am not abused but honored by men,I have a respected career making over $100 000 . 00 a year, I am free to choose what I want and Porn isn't a problem at all , I drive one of the hottest cars on the planet and I go on vacation 3 times a year!! Few months ago, our justice passed a man from the middle East who commited several youth abuses / having sex with girls under 15y/ to his native country for punishment. for one thing women (adults) make their own decision when it comes to entering the porn industry.

and this stuff happens all over the world not just the west.

in iran they execute, yes you read right EXECUTE children.
one such story was a girl who killed her rapist. but she not them were charged with a crime.

in iraq a young girl was stoned to death just because she had a boy friend who the parents didnt approve of.

in new york a muslim girl was murdered by her own parents because she had a black boyfriend and she wanted a job.

Abuse of women seem to be very bad in other countries. I watched the taliban and the arab women in Iraq. Under their burcas women are sometimes beaten and burned. The women suffer so much abuse they try to do away with themselves. Not to speak of the inability of women in Iraq and Afganistan to educate themselves. There is abuse everywhere but I was particulary disturbed by the horrific abuse in those countries. Then there is forced cutting of the genitialia at age 13 in Africa, and least not forget of the man women in India and Pakinstan that mysteriously die by family members or mother in laws. Oh joy women suffer alot in this world.

Because there is a dominating culture in the West comprised of, among others, two very dangerous core principles that make this justifiable in the eyes of those who uphold them. First, women are subservient to men, nothing but objects to be used and discarded as pleased, servile to the needs of their superiors. Second, without any higher (non-human, non-material) authority to which to account to, no matter what form it takes, the proponents of this way of thinking feel they can indulge in whatever pleasures, no matter how degenerate, they want because they can 'get away with it' since they account to nothing and nobody. Short answer, way more to say, but that's what i see. The sad part is that many women here, already on the levels of consciousness and awareness, appropriate these attitudes, succumb to them, submit to the circumstance, because the pay and benefits are good. And they're taught by certain very determined strains of popular culture, education and socialization, to think that way since childhood. Unfortunately, there is no surviving cultural tradition in the West, like many that exist in the East (problems in the East on the question of women's status and role in society notwithstanding as well), that place the role and status of the woman on an equal footing with that of a man, and that regard her status as a mother as worthy of respect and worship. Some of them just don't get it and probably never will, even if they think that all the 'gettin' it' they're getting makes them get it. I think some of the hatefilled, brainwashed, propagandistic, arrogant and ignorant answers you got to your question prove my point.

Sexual abuse is RAMPANT in the middle east and moreover girls who report it are ill treated or not believed and risk punishment.

Over here, we have special services for abused girls. They are listened to. BELIEVED by the authorities and protected. We also investigate THOROUGHLY.

Women who are involved in porn CHOOSE to be involved in it. They are not forced or sold into slavery.

Women here can CHOOSE who they marry.

Women here can CHOOSE what to wear.

Women here can CHOOSE how many children to have and when.

We don't require women to be virgins to get married. We do not measure the worth of a woman based on her hymen. We do not allow brothers and fathers to kill their sisters and daughters for "honor". No woman carrries the ENTIRE honor of her family based on her actions. Everyone is responsible for their OWN honor.

Geez, all that freedom and human rights for women must REALLY boggle your mind huh?
