$100. A 1964 mini beatle. Ran fine once I fixed it up a bit. Still have, right in the back of my barn.

My first car, a '51 chevy two door, I paid the great sum of $75 dollars for in '56. Drove it two years and sold it for $65 then bought a '51 Merc convertible for $700. Drove the Merc until the engine went out in '62. Then bought a '40 LaSalle Coupe for $200. Restored that and drove until I went to Nam in '66 and sold it for $700. The LaSalle today would be worth about $35,000 in good condition and the Merc, of which there are only a dozen or so known to exist is worth around $65,000. Ahh, for the good old days, when a young guy could buy a nice car, without going in debt up to his ears. However I do have a newly restored '65 Mustang which I obtained by swapping a used riding mower.

'94 Honda Civic $500
'91 Ford Explorer $202.50
'93 Ford Explorer $250
'94 Ford Explorer $250
'93 Ford Ranger & a tow dolly $500
'81 Dodge 4x4 $400
'70 Ford Ranchero GT $800
'85 Dodge 1/2 ton $200
'84 Ford Van $75
'89 Buick Park Ave and '88 Olds 98 for $200

Most run but need some work. Those are just the ones I currently have or have agreed on prices for.

$100. for a 78 jeep wagoneer that the guy said the transmission was shot and he needed it gone cause he was moving. So I went to pick it up (with a trailer & friend) looked down and put the transfer case into gear and drove it off. Sold it one month later for $2000.

I bought a 1972 Dodge from a guy I was stationed with for $50. He said he couldn't get it to run, I put a new distributor on and drove it for about 3 years.
