read about all the different god/dess. you do not have to stick with one group. you can have different aspects from different pantheons....go with who and what feels right. what animals do you like? are you shy? outgoing? assertive? look at the traits of the god/dess' and see what you lack and what you want to incorporate into your life...and/or what you identify with. have fun...don't stress.

You don't pick them. They pick you. It's usually a couple, not an entire pantheon. If you have no one to work with yet, why are you wanting to be Wiccan? What draws you to Wicca if not the gods?

Let your pantheon pick you. Read as much as you can about as many different pantheons as you can. Study myth from arround the world, immerse yourself in it. Start keeping a record of your dreams, and begin a meditation practice. When you are ready, your patron deities will appear. You'll know it when you see it. You could also do a vigil -- sit quietly in meditation and pray for your gods to appear to you. If you are ready, they will. And keep in mind, that as you grow, your patron deities may change throughout your life.
Hope that helps.

Read, study, and read some more.
If you don't feel a connection with any particular pantheon, then address the God and Goddess.
But it seems to me like you're not sure what Wicca is, so you should probably get a better understanding before going much further along your path.

You're going to pick more than your pantheon - add to that several indwelling demons - which you'll not be able to get rid of except through Christ.

Pick your pantheon?
.... You seem to think that the responsibility for deciding the controllers of the known Universe is yours to shoulder?
Hate to break it to you.... but you're not that important.
In fact to call you significant at all would be an overstatement.
You don't "pick" anything; you take what you're given and you like it.
