.25mg TID takes the edge off in many of my ICU pts. that do not have a tolerance secondary to previous/regular use. They usually increase the dose over time to maintain/achieve therapeutic effect. Follow your docs dosage recommendations though to avoid adverse effects.

It all depends on what one considers "Feeling Good".
Xanex helps relieve anxiety. Hopefully one would feel less anxious with Xanex. If it is not helping the anxiety, one could talk to his/her doctor about prescribing something else.

Don't get high on Xanax. Benzodiazipine withdrawal is absolutely unbearable and dangerous. You could even have seizures. Definitely stay away from it, unless you take it exactly as prescribed.

one twice a day I do not take it to feel good I take it to keep me sane

DO NOT/ SELF MEDICATE/only /take /if Dr/ recommends/it can kill/and only /take the amount /the Dr /ordered
