I read in a magazine, the offical playstation one, and they said they are stoping making the ps3 console (80 & 60Gb) and only producing the 40Gb one that i don't wanna get! Oh yeah and by the way I live in the UK so i would like some stock info from Europe plase not the US etc... thanks

No, only the 60GB PS3 isn't being produced from Sony anymore. The 80GB PS3 will be continued to be made in the U.S. though.
If you live in the U.K. it could be possible that Sony is not going to keep producing the 60GB and 80GB model as well, but I'm not sure though. All I know is that the 60GB and 80GB PS3's are still avaliable here in the U.S. and the 80GB PS3 will be taking the place of the 60GB PS3's once they all sell out.

80gb replaces 60gb and 40gb replaces 20gb.

60 gig is done!!! 80gig is still in production and available! 60gig is available while supplies last!
