I've heard Royal Caribbean is particularly good, but I'll have JUST turned 18 when i go on this cruise so I'm a bit concerned that I'llbe cut off from older teen activities (since I wont be 17 anymore). Are there any reccomendations? I want a cruise where I can have fun and meet new people. Also, one where my mom can have fun as well (though not necessarily together all the time. She'll want to relax and I like to go out and about).

Carnival or Royal Caribbean are probably your best bets. To get "inside"info, go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards" at the top of the page, and explore - you'll get all the info you could possibly want. If you click on "Reviews", you can read reviews from pros and past passengers.

You might be particularly interested in the boards for those two cruise lines, and I think there is a board for teens or kids, too.

I went on a Royal Caribbean when i was 17 I had a blast i was with all the girls in my family there was nothing fun for JUST teenagers to do I mean WE HAD A LOT OF FUN but there not any activities you can do but since your 18 you can get into the club that's on the boat I'm sure there will be other people in there your age ohhhh yes and they have Karaoke night that was a blast that's something else you can do. Me and my cousin who is 2 weeks older than me would just stay up really late and go to the pool at the pool after like 10 they serve hamburgers and hot dogs and stuff NO matter what you will have a blast ITS A cruise there's always something to do YALL HAVE FUN!!!!

Carnival Cruiselines have a great atmosphere for teenagers: Their on-board dance clubs and bars are open to anyone 18 years and older (alcohol laws still apply); there are activities created especially for making new friends, including sports, contests, and shows.

For the older adults, there are casinos, stand-up comedy, magic shows, dinner parties, and other entertainment.

I'm a Travel Agent and I've booked with Carnival before for teenagers and families with teenagers. Each ship has a different theme and different types of activites to enjoy. If you want, I can book this trip for you. Just send me an E-Mail and we can work out something: Chaoxxx3@yahoo.com

I tell you now dont go on Royal Carribbean, the best cruise liner for teenagers is P&O Cruises as they make their boats solely for young enegetic people and i have been on 3 of there cruises and i can tell you they are great fun.
