BAR-B-QUE COUNTRY PORK RIBS
8 country sliced pork ribs - 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil and vinegar marinade
BAR-B-QUE SAUCE:
2 c. ketchup
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. steak sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. hot sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
Make oil and vinegar marinade of choice and marinate overnight. If that is not possible, marinate at least 2 hours. Drain and pour out marinade. Put pork ribs in baking dish and add a little water and cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Preheat grill and place ribs on medium heat and add bar-b-que sauce and grill 10-15 minutes. Serve on warm platter.

I always boil my ribs first in water that covers them and I add onions, garlic salt, salt, and pepper, and even some celery seed. I boil this till they are tender and then I grill them. They don't take long on the grill and this is when you would baste them with whatever sauce you would want. If you do it this way you can boil your ribs ahead of time...even a day ahead...and then just take them with you to grill! Good luck and have fun!

Use a dry rub and brown them over direct flame. Then using a disposable aluminum pan half fill the pan with sauce and beer half and half. place ribs in boil over flame for at least 1 hour 2 is better. Remove pan place ribs back on grill and sauce them down. As soon as the sauce dries eat 'em up.

Boil them before you go...then just pack them in the cooler. It'll take a LOT less time to re-heat them. And there won't be as much smoke and flames from the fat melting into the grill.

3 hours on low heat, turning often. I have a butane burner that I use for boiling, they only cost about $20 and work great, check them out.

good thing you have propane... You want to leave it on really low and slow cook em for about 2.5 to 3 hours using whatever recipe floats your boat.
