Mine is 2 Corinthians 5:9. And it says...
So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. (NIV)

For those who are quoting "certain" scriptures trying to be negative, finish reading the verses or chapters around those verses to see why those things are said or happening. Then you will not be so negative!

Wow at the sarcastic responses. For those who dont "believe" in GOD sure do spend alot of time in R&S section downgrading those who do. Do I sense a hint of conviction? If so send me a meesage and I will tell you how to know Jesus as your personal Savior. He can change that negativity to positive!

Hebrews 6: 4-6.
It explains why I, as a former Christian, shouldn't even bother trying.

4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age,
6if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because[a]to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace

Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my Strength, and whom I will Trust.
John 14:1-3
Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Fathers house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also...

Isaiah, 9:6
" For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God. The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace"
Every Verse is important, because it all fits together, and is our Love Letter from God.

Ezekiel 25:17 (better known from Pulp Fiction)
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

My All time Favorite........
(Rev 12:11) And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death.
Second....
(Acts 26:18) in order to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan = = to God, so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me [JESUS].
Thanks for Asking, In Christ Jesus..... Roger R.

From the King James, one of my favorite passages:
Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

As an atheist, I still find everything in the Psalms to be very enchanting and human. You can see all the stages and relationships that one goes through when struggling to find the divine, and I think that's very cool.

How about John 16:7
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
I've yet to find a christian that can satisfactorily explain that.
