potatoes aren't exactly bad for you it's when you load then with butter and salt then they become bad. If you can make instant mash potatoes without the butter and loaded salt then they're good for you.

Instant anything is worse for you than the original. Instant potatoes have a lot of added chemicals, so they're not really all that healthy. Are they more healthy than a baked potato with bacon, sour cream, and cheese? Definitely. It just depends on what your definition of healthy is.

They are not exactly healthy. Also they do not have as many health benefits as regular potatoes do. Even though potatoes are very starchy vegetables they are better than the instant ones.

taylor is right but have you tried mashed, baked, or fried in olive oil, sweet potatoes. they are great for you and taste yummie.

Well you have to read the label. Try to see if its low in fat and low in calories. But the carbs will usually be high, so try to eat in small portions.
