these are my symptoms:
severe nausea(which i believe is caused from anxiety) lasting about 4 months now every day.have lost about 2 stone in 4 months.

anxiety:i am very nervous and stressed unable to concentrate, very low self-esteem and low confidence.

worrying:worry excessively to the point of physical sickness.im always shaking, i wake up feeling this way too, and sometimes wake with nausea straight away and then get physically sick only minutes from waking

hallucinations:i used to hallucinate, last time was about 6 weeks ago.i knew at the time the things i was seeing werent real but was still very scared e.g (seeing huge shadows on the walls) and shadows of rats on the ceiling.

bt the way: i am 18 and have NOT seen a doctor,Thank you

There is a disorder called paranoid schizophrenia, which I suffer from but I don't think you are that. Self diagnosis is usually wrong and very dangerous. Schizophrenic hallucinations are very violent and traumatic in my experience. I think it is more likely you are suffering from anxiety attacks. Symptoms of schizophrenia paranoia have to persist and be incapacitating for up to six months to be diagnosed as such. Type in "schizophrenia" and then "anxiety" into Yahoo! web search; a number of informative links comes up for each. Wikipedia has good summarys. After you have educated yourself see a doctor about that anxiety.

Good luck, good mental health, peace and Love!

It does not seem to be schizophrenia, more like a very severe depression/anxiety problem that can be driving itself into some psychosis (the partial hallucinations you were talking about). Also seeing images in shadows are not necessarily considered full blown hallucinations. The main question here would probably be what exactly are you worrying about? If you also have disorganized speech, delusions, disorganized and bizarre behavior, or negative symptoms along with the hallucinations, it may be schizophrenia. So are you worrying about something extremely bizarre (delusion) or not?

There are many causes of the above symptoms. I wouldn't go ahead and assume its schizophrenia. See a doctor. You need to get the symptoms under control for your own sake.

no one can accurately diagnose you, make a doctors appointment immediately.... mental illness is not to be taken lightly. Mental illness is like all other diseases, if detected early can be treated early....
