...i feel like i can't move forward until i realize my life's calling...how do i find it?
...i don't want a meaningless life, i wanna do something that makes me want to get up in the morning, and actually look forward to without thinking about killing myself before work, during work, and while i set my alarm before i go to sleep at night... is there some sort of meditation that would help me find what i'm looking for?...hell, i don't even know what i'm looking for.... f*ck, this is really frustrating...

Boy, I just wish you hadn't asked the most difficult question in the world.
I don't have an answer. But I'll be coming back to see the answers you get, maybe they'll stop ME from wanting to kill MYSELF!

I would think that this is better in the psychology section, or even philosophy; you don't know what you're getting in to by posting this in R&S, lol.
I'll offer an answer all the same:
I'm 33 and have just recently decided what to do with my life. What I had been doing in the meantime was travelling around the US and trying new jobs, taking classes, meeting people, just basically living. I learned what I liked and what I didn't like. I let purpose find me through my interests.
I'm finally in college studying English, and once I get to the University I'll be Majoring in English with an Art Minor. I'm very glad that I didn't settle for one of the few things that I liked, and waiting for the things that I love.
The thing about life purpose is that if you are willing to listen to yourself and the world, it will eventually come to you. Just don't discount something in entirety because you don't like one aspect of it.
Good Luck!

Your "calling" is what you're able to do and enjoy doing. Volunteer work in the various "fields" of interest for you can give you ideas on what's interesting to you the most. If there's more than one thing, make a list of pros and cons of each one.
There are ride along programs w/ some police forces, fire depts. or EMS. Hospitals have volunteer programs, trucking companies have some ride-along programs, the military has a few programs that let you probe your interests if that's your thing. Ask a mechanic if you can sort of "tag along" in his/her day if that is an interest, even religious orders from various religions allow you to "sample" their lives if THAT is your interest. Where there's a will there's a way and I wish you the best of happiness in whatever you choose.
Not everyone is burdened with a "calling" they can't escape.

Stop trying to figure it out on your own. Let God. He will show you everything you are and your purpose if you ask. I don't believe in religion and I don't go to church. It's just me and God and He gives each person what they need through prayer. Allow Him to come into your heart and give you peace. You have a purpose it's just that sometimes it's too blurred because other thoughts are in the way. Right now as I'm writing this He is listening and He is telling you to be patient with yourself. You don't have to have all the answers. The main thing He wants you to know is that He is a loving, understanding and forgiving God that loves you. You find your own relationship with Him. Not how someone else believes or what He has done for them but what you find in God. Stop looking and just feel. I promise you, you have a purpose and God really wants you to know this. Throw the depression out the window and pull all the strength from God. That is what He is here for. I was on 21 pills a day for my depression and let me tell you all the pills did for me was give me side affects. Medication can never compare to the truth of what is really inside you. I'm in South Carolina and I can feel God next to you. Please let Him in. He is your answer. Say it out loud! Come into my heart God and show me the way. He won't fail you. This is not meant to sound like I am preaching. I just know what works. Come on give Him a chance to show you.

Men what wrong with you? do you want to go to a bridge and throw your self? will that bring a meaning to life? don't do that. Try to find out what you love to do go into Job search look at the diffrent Job ask yourself what and where would you feel comportable and then try to find a job in that area. Try to make some thing out of this. Do the best out of this situation. Live is as good as you treat it.

Relax. What if you have no 'life calling'? I'm probably twice your age or more and I have no idea what that even means. The phrase gets tossed about a lot and I suspect no one who uses it really knows what a 'life calling' is. They just happened to trip and fall into something their passionate about and decided it must be fate.
Nonsense. We all make our meaning as we go. I can say don't let someone else tell you what you should be passionate about. You'll find yourself living their life instead of yours. Live your own life find your own way.

I don't know what I want to do with my life. I've had jobs that I hated, and I dealt with it by quitting and finding a new job. Eventually, you'll find something that you're at least okay with, if you don't actually enjoy it.
I've just learned to accept the fact that I'm not money/ career oriented, and I find different things to enjoy. If you can't do that, maybe you should consider talking to a therapist. Nothing wrong with that.

Without religion, the Catholic religion in particular, we'd have no learning, no science, no Judeo-Christian base of society, and a lot more wars and hungry people. That's a fact, not an opinion.
I strongly suggest that you make an appointment to meet with a clergyman, particularly a Catholic priest. He'll listen to you and give you great advice -- and he won't be looking at a clock while he does it. Nor will he charge you $150 an hour for the service.

Read the book of ECCLESIASTES.
I was suffering from the same condition a few days ago and it really ate at me.
I thought that life was pointless meaningless and nothing had any purpose or merit.
this is a satanic attack to paralyze us so that we won't do anything Good with our lives and end up not fulfilling God's intentions for us to live a life that people will envy and hunger for and the kind of life that inspires others to live their lives even in the simples of ways as working everyday and donating much of your income to support those who feed the hungry, heal the sick and give drink to the thirsty.

If you're thinking of killing yourself over your current situation than try to change it (seek help). If that's not the case than add some meaning by volunteering to help those that need it. You may/might find it's just the lift you need in your life. PEACE!
